It is a great pleasure to cordially welcome you to the
18TH ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON
SYSTEMS
BIOLOGY OF HUMAN DISEASE - SBHD 2026
The SBHD conference series is a binational annual event initially launched by Peter Sorger and colleagues at Harvard Medical School in 2008 with its location alternating between the USA and Germany. SBHD 2026 will take place in Boston, USA, hosted by the Institute of Experiential AI at Northeastern University.
The Systems Biology of Human Disease (SBHD) conference focuses on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and systems biology approaches for the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of human diseases. We look forward to welcoming reknowned national and international scientists and trainees.
We are looking forward to an exciting program with a particular focus on AI, Cancer, Infectious Diseases,
Metabolic Diseases, Lung Diseases, Mental Health, and Aging. In 2026, the coference will place special emphasis
on applied AI and innovations in the BioTech, HealtTech, MedTech, and Pharmaceuticals spaces with a session with
speakers from leading companies in these spaces.
In addition to talks given by invited speakers, the SBHD has had a good tradition of including
short talks, as well as an extended poster session selected from submitted abstracts.
We are
also proud to once again award the Anne Heidenthal Prize for Fluorescence Research, sponsored by
Chroma Technology Corp.
On the first evening, we warmly welcome our participants to our traditional conference dinner in the Atrium at ISEC, Northeastern University with free drinks and a three-course menu. Accompanied by music and the opportunity to dance. This event is a perfect opening for networking.
Thus, on behalf of the organizing committee, a warm welcome to all participants planning to attend SBHD 2026.
SBHD 2026 is taking place at Northeastern University in Boston, USA from June 8 - 10.
